LEARN THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF NATURAL MOVEMENT
This one day workshop is designed to introduce you to Natural Movement, and give you the most important basics that you can practice in your daily life. We will focus on areas that need the most improvement and we will teach you routines that you can use and practice at home in twenty or thirty minutes a day.
This event is a must for anybody interested in primitive skills or traditional hunting! Dr. Jon D. Morey’s Uncivilized Vitality program utilizes the 10 pieces of Uncivilized Technology. The Sling & Spear archetype represents self defense and hunting.Participants will have a chance to make (and take home) 2 different types of traditional slings and practice the thrusting spear. After a short lesson on use we will break into teams and play a giant capture-the-flag style game using the sling & spear! Please bring protective eyewear and comfortable, athletic clothing.
THIS SPECIAL EVENT IS FOR AGES 50+
We believe Natural Movement® is for everyone. We also believe that the older you get, the more important it is to not just exercise, but to move naturally (i.e. the way your body is designed). So, if you want to improve your fitness and natural movement abilities, please join us at this special certification event where you’ll safely explore your potential under the tutelage of Dr. Jon D. Morey.
This is an intermediate event for those ready to challenge themselves. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their Health & Happiness through the exploration of Fieldcraft. These campouts will build upon the basic skills of shelter building, fire making, water purification, and knot tying. We will also branch out to many other new skills as well. This is not a survivalist/prepper camp. While you will walk away with necessary woodland skills, the objective is to develop your SELF by safely pushing the boundaries of your comfort zone. We will arrive at camp Friday evening and depart Sunday morning. More information including a packing list will be provided closer to the event once registration is complete. Cost includes 3 meals, all group gear, and instruction.
